I'm in sacramento.but we try to make it up the OR coast at least 1x a year :)
5 nights might not be enough to see everything, much less drive. going up and down US-101 (i've done the entirety a few times) will take time. Newport is pretty nice to walk around too.īrookings is on the southern coast. Yachats is very walkable and cute-lots of places. Lincoln city is pretty city like, though i haven't spent much time there. Since you're going south, you will pass by rockaway beach-lots of little stuff to walk and see along the main drag there on US-101. Seaside is also super nice, cell service isn't as great there.
astoria probably is the nicest in terms of walkability and going to stuff that mentioned. worth a try !Īstoria has great 5G speeds. there is the 'astoria banh mi' food truck which is actually in warrenton close to fred meyer. i was in astoria first week of july and it wasn't too bad.
